How do I show the Normal background in only some scenes?

Add, hide or remove each scene’s background placement independently.

Before you start

Prepare a background in Normal Media > Background.

Where to find it

The intended scene’s Sources > Add > Add Background Placement.

Steps

Select the scene and inspect its background placement.
Hide or remove that placement if the scene should not show the shared background.
Use Add Background Placement to restore it when absent.
Move/size the placement and check the scene picture.

Check the result

Each scene shows the background only where its placement is visible.

Helpful information

The protected Background scene is reusable and can be renamed. Its placement is ordinary scene content: removing it does not delete the protected Background scene or force it to return on reopening. Only one such placement is allowed per scene.

If something is wrong

Check placement visibility, source order and the Background gallery’s active item. A disabled Add entry can mean the placement is already present.
