  1. Select the next scene in Preview.
  2. Choose the scene transition and ms duration.
  3. Check the picture and audio.
  4. Choose Transition to take Preview to Program.
  5. Use Cut for an immediate switch.
  6. For a manual transition, drag the T-Bar.

Check the result

Check that editing Preview leaves the intended Program picture on air until the take.

Helpful information

Duplicate Scene protects Program while preparing scene layout, visibility, crop, and transform changes in Preview. Duplicate Sources also isolates supported visual properties and filters; it requires Duplicate Scene and uses more resources. Swap Preview/Program Scenes After Transition puts the previous Program scene back in Preview. Quick Transitions provide named transition buttons. Draw, media, browser interaction, and Scene Zoom controls follow the selected source.

If something is wrong

If viewers see the wrong picture, check the broadcast Output Feed and the Program scene.
