How do I add an existing scene inside another scene?
Reuse a prepared composition in another shot.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.
Where to find it
Destination scene Sources > Add > Scene.
Steps
- Select the destination scene.
- Open Add > Scene and select an eligible scene from the catalog.
- Choose Select to add it directly.
- Arrange the reference and inspect its picture; choose Clone instead when you want a separate live-clone scene.
Check the result
The intended scene appears inside the destination.
Helpful information
The Scene catalog lists scenes directly. It does not require naming a new ordinary source and opening another scene picker.
If something is wrong
The destination itself, protected/hidden scenes and circular references can be unavailable.
