How do I place one scene inside another?

Follow this workflow to place one scene inside another.

Before you start

Choose a scene that can be reused without creating a circular reference.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Scene.

Steps

Create the reusable scene first.
Open the destination scene.
Add a Scene source.
Choose the scene in the picker.
Choose Add.
Open Scene Mix to edit the referenced scene sources.

Check the result

Check that the nested scene appears inside the destination scene.

Helpful information

The picker excludes the destination scene, system-managed scenes, and references that would create a loop. The Scene Mix selector lets you choose a scene without changing the main scene selection.

If something is wrong

If the desired scene is not offered, check for a circular reference or an unavailable selection.
