Choose scene and source preview cards for a collection
Set preview-only cards and ordinary card/hover previews separately for each collection.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and check the result before using it during a production. Controls depend on the installed version and current selection.
Where to find it
Workspace setup or Collection > New / Edit; the Scene Cards options button.
Use it
- Choose Preview cards only in Scenes and Preview cards only in Sources independently.
- For ordinary cards, turn the relevant preview-only option off, then open Scene Cards.
- Choose the scene/source/overlay/underlay card and hover options you want.
- Save and review that collection; resize its Scenes/Sources docks if needed.
Helpful information
New Normal collections start with both preview-only choices on; Pro starts with both off. Either collection level can change them. While preview-only is on, its related ordinary card/hover settings are disabled. Their stored choices return when preview-only is turned off.
These choices belong to the collection and are separate from Compact mode in media galleries. Existing-source previews remain under Workspace settings. Show simplified scene preview is another collection choice for simplified thumbnails; it does not change your live output. The Scene Cards popup lets you review its eight options without enlarging the collection dialog.
