How do I choose which scene receives a dragged file?
Let content drops pass through a nested scene to the intended scene below it.
Before you start
Open the scene containing the nested scene areas.
Where to find it
Scene Settings > Accept Drop.
Steps
- Disable Accept Drop on nested scenes that should not receive the file.
- Enable it on the intended receiving scene and save.
- Drag a test file into Preview and check the scene that received it.
- Review the main scene setting if no nested area should receive drops.
Check the result
The intended accepting scene receives the dropped content.
Helpful information
Accept Drop does not hide a scene. With no accepting target the drop is rejected; Sources-panel Add remains available.
If something is wrong
Check overlapping nested scenes, their Accept Drop settings and supported content types.
