Choose starter scenes when creating a collection
Start Normal with ready-made scenes or with one blank user scene.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and rehearse before changing a live production. Controls depend on your installed version and selection.
Where to find it
Initial setup or New Collection > Generate preconfigured scenes.
Use it
- Choose the intended collection level.
- For Normal, leave Generate preconfigured scenes checked for the starter scenes.
- Uncheck it if you want one blank user scene and will build your own shots.
- Review devices, monitoring and layout settings.
- Complete creation and inspect the new collection.
Helpful information
The choice applies only while creating a collection. It is not offered for editing an existing collection. In Pro it is unavailable and unchecked. Normal’s Media, Background and prepared asset controls remain available when starter scenes are skipped. Skipping starter scenes does not convert Normal into Pro or enable Studio Mode. Existing collections are not reset or reseeded by this choice.
