Source visibility transitions
Animate a source when it is shown or hidden.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source transition settings.
Use it
- Open Source Transitions.
- Choose In transition and Duration (ms).
- Choose Out transition and Duration (ms).
- Save.
- Show/hide the source to use the transitions.
Controls and additional tasks
In runs when visible; Out runs when hidden. Adjacent buttons edit/create saved transitions.
Control reference
| Control | Use |
|---|---|
| Edit selected transition | Edit show transition. |
| Create transition | Create show transition. |
| Duration (ms) | How long the transition/action takes, in milliseconds. |
| Edit selected transition | Edit hide transition. |
| Create transition | Create hide transition. |
| Save | Save the edited settings. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
