Why is Save disabled after editing a layout’s render fields?
The layout saves with the intended reusable selections.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Review every section in the layout editor.
- Enable Use Preset in Video, Audio, Codec, Color and Resize sections.
- Choose or create the required saved presets.
- Save the layout and reopen it to check the selections.

The layout saves with the intended reusable selections.
Helpful information
The current layout editor requires Use Preset for saving; render/output-profile editors have their own direct-setting flow.
If something is wrong
Check all sections, not only Video, and correct any remaining validation message.
