Fade To Color and Luma Wipe transitions
Use a color interlude or an image pattern to move between scenes.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Manage Transitions > Fade To Color or Luma Wipe.
Set it up
- Create the required transition type.
- For Fade To Color, choose Color and Peak color point / switch %.
- For Luma Wipe, choose Pattern or Custom luma image.
- Set Invert and Softness % if needed.
- Set duration/easing, preview, and Save.
Color and pattern
Fade To Color changes through the selected color at the specified peak/switch point. Luma Wipe uses the pattern’s luminance to reveal the new scene. Invert reverses the pattern; Softness % softens its edge.
