How do I change collection options without changing application preferences?
The chosen collection contains the intended change.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Open the intended collection/layout.
- Choose File > Options and the required page.
- Edit and save the bus, monitor, dynamic group, channel or Smart View in its own editor.
- Close Options and check that item in the show.
Check the result
The chosen collection contains the intended change.
Helpful information
File > Settings handles application preferences. Options is not a second preference-save window.
If something is wrong
Check the active collection if the item you expected is absent.
