Use Compact mode in content and media galleries
Switch supported gallery cards to smaller rows without changing the items in your show.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and check the result before using it during a production. Controls depend on the installed version and current selection.
Where to find it
The Compact mode checkbox in a supported Content, media, Assets, Background, Dynamic Content or Replay input gallery.
Use it
- Open the intended gallery and find Compact mode.
- Enable it to show a source-type icon, name and actions in an inline row.
- Use the same item actions and scroll through the list.
- Turn it off to restore the gallery’s preview cards.
Helpful information
Compact mode starts off and is shared across layouts/collections for that panel family. It is available in supported content/media/asset/background galleries and Replay live-input cards. Scenes, Sources, Overlay/Underlay channel panels and guest cards do not use this checkbox. Main Preview, Program and Replay monitors retain their normal role.
For scene/source preview-only cards, use the collection profile instead. Narrow tabbed panels keep their tabs on one row: use the end navigation arrows to reveal hidden tabs, then select the intended panel.
