Open Content for one specific scene

Keep a scene’s Content gallery open while you work in another scene.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and rehearse before changing a live production. Controls depend on your installed version and selection.

Where to find it

Focused layout View > Docks > Content or View > Window > Content.

Use it

  1. Choose Universal for the existing Content panel and its scene picker.
  2. Choose an eligible scene name for a panel pinned to that scene.
  3. Use Docks for a docked panel or Window for a separate window.
  4. Check the panel title before adding, editing or removing content.
  5. Switch production scenes and confirm the dedicated panel remains on its named scene.

Helpful information

Universal retains its scene-following/picker behavior. A dedicated panel stays pinned and does not retarget when the selected production scene changes. Both Normal and Pro offer the menus for eligible user scenes. You can open more than one named scene panel.

Only eligible current-collection user scenes appear. Protected Background/fixed asset scenes, hidden references and Replay scenes are excluded. Rename updates the title; deleting the scene closes its dedicated panel. Saved arrangements can reopen valid panels. A scene name in this menu is a destination to edit, not a command to take that scene live. Actions in a panel can still change content used in the production, so rehearse changes.
