Custom Browser Docks
Keep a web page beside the production workspace in a reusable dock.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
View > Workspace > Custom Browser Docks; layout Docks > Custom Browser Docks.
Set it up
- Open Custom Browser Docks for the current collection.
- Choose Add.
- Enter Title and an absolute URL, including https:// or http://.
- Confirm the new dock and choose Apply.
- Open its title from the Custom Browser Docks menu in the intended layout.
Edit and remove
Select the saved dock, choose Edit, change its title/address, and Apply. Remove deletes the selected saved dock. Cancel discards pending changes. These docks belong to the collection and are shared by its layouts.
If the page does not appear
Check the address and internet access. Some sites require their own sign-in or restrict embedded viewing; use a site that permits this workflow.
