1. Information we receive
Depending on how you use MCast Studio, we may receive account information such as your name and email address; license, plan, and device-activation information; transaction status from payment providers; support correspondence; and limited security or service information required to operate the account and licensing system.
2. Information we do not ask you to send
Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, private stream keys, access tokens, or other secrets through support messages. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment provider and app distribution is handled through the official platform store.
3. How information is used
- Provide account sign-in, trial, licensing, plan, and device access.
- Process purchases and confirm payment status through payment providers.
- Operate support, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and maintain service reliability.
- Improve the product and communicate important service information.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
4. Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to deliver authentication, hosting, database, payment, app-store, email, support, or security functions. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, account and license operation, security, dispute resolution, financial records, and legal obligations.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so customers should also protect their devices, accounts, and credentials.
7. Your choices
You may request help reviewing or correcting account information, or ask about deletion and retention, subject to legal and operational requirements. Some data must remain while an account, license, transaction, or dispute is active.
8. International processing
Service providers may process information in locations different from yours. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such processing.
9. Children
MCast Studio is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to these practices. Organizations using the product with students or minors are responsible for appropriate permissions and supervision.
