How do I watch Preview or Program while using another application?
The chosen feed should appear while another application is foreground.
Before you start
Open a layout on a supported desktop session.
Where to find it
Preview/Program options Follow Me.
Steps
- Enable Follow Me for the desired feed.
- Switch to another application and position the small picture.
- Return to MCast to hide it.
- Uncheck the option when you no longer need it.
Check the result
The chosen feed should appear while another application is foreground.
Helpful information
Preview and Program are independent. Closing the small window dismisses it for the current away session; return to MCast and switch away to show it again.
If something is wrong
If unavailable, use an ordinary projector or supported desktop session.
