Choose Normal or Pro for a collection
The functionality level chooses the working interface for a collection. It is separate from your subscription and output format.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Rehearse changes before using them during a live production.
Where to find it
Collection > New, or the collection profile in first-time Setup.
Use it
- Enter the collection name and choose Functionality level: Normal or Pro.
- Choose Default layout: HD, 4K, Vertical or Custom. For Custom, enter Width and Height.
- Set your brand colors, font, presenter name and default camera/audio input as needed.
- Create the collection and open its layout.
- Check the available panels before preparing the show.
Choose the interface
Normal organizes common production tasks into Scenes, Sources, Guest, Media, Assets and Banners. Use its card controls to choose content and enter an explicit editing mode. Pro provides the detailed scene/source workspace and Studio Mode preparation controls.
The level is fixed when the collection is created. The selector is unavailable when editing an existing collection. Create a separate collection if you need the other level; exporting or duplicating an existing collection does not turn it into a different level. Existing saved workspace arrangements can look different from first-use defaults.
If a feature appears missing
Check the active collection's level, the View menus and your license. Normal does not provide Studio Mode. Choose a Pro collection for Preview/Program preparation. Selecting Pro does not purchase a subscription or bypass feature access.
