How do I start Normal without the starter scenes?
Choose the initial scene setup while making a collection.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.
Where to find it
Initial setup or New Collection > Generate preconfigured scenes.
Steps
- Choose Normal.
- Uncheck Generate preconfigured scenes.
- Review devices and monitoring, then create the collection.
- Open the blank user scene and add your own sources.
Check the result
One blank user scene is available; Normal Media, Background and prepared assets still work.
Helpful information
Leave the checkbox enabled for starter scenes. The choice is creation-only and unavailable in Pro.
If something is wrong
An existing collection has no such edit switch. Create a collection deliberately; do not delete existing work to imitate this choice.
