How do I choose a 60 fps layout and output preset?

Select matching frame-rate choices deliberately instead of relying on a new profile’s initial suggestion.

Before you start

Check your camera, machine/network capacity and receiving service’s requirements.

Where to find it

Setup/collection Default layout and the output profile’s render preset selection.

Steps

  1. Choose the intended 60 fps layout preset when creating the workspace or collection.
  2. Create an output profile and review its initial 30 fps suggestion.
  3. Choose a compatible 60 fps render profile or supported custom settings.
  4. Save, reopen and verify the selected frame rate, then test picture and sound at the receiver.

Check the result

The saved layout and output use the chosen rates.

Helpful information

HD:30 is the initial layout choice; Custom size uses 30 fps. New broadcast defaults favor 30 fps. An existing saved output retains its selected render profile. Provider/plan support varies; a listed preset does not establish account eligibility or sustained performance.

If something is wrong

Check both layout and output choices, bitrate/encoder capacity and provider acceptance. Do not treat a static-picture test as proof of motion performance.
