How do I choose automatic YouTube live ads?
Set the offered mid-roll ad preference for an eligible YouTube broadcast.
Before you start
Use an eligible YouTube account and review its monetization settings.
Where to find it
The broadcast setup YouTube Live Ads / Live Ads control when offered.
Steps
- Select the intended YouTube broadcast.
- Choose none, low, medium or high in Live Ads.
- Review the rest of the event settings and start deliberately.
- Check the event and monetization behavior on YouTube.
Check the result
The selected preference is applied where YouTube supports it.
Helpful information
This option does not make an ineligible channel eligible or guarantee an ad. Other platforms ignore this setting. Choose none when you do not want to request automatic mid-roll ads.
If something is wrong
Check YouTube channel eligibility and the selected broadcast account; another provider cannot use this preference.
