How do I schedule an event without starting the broadcast?
A scheduled event should exist while streaming remains stopped until you start it.
Before you start
Use a supported event-based connected account and convert the intended time to UTC.
Where to find it
Broadcast event Create New > Schedule live event.
Steps
- Review the account, title and audience.
- Enable Schedule live event and enter Date and time (UTC).
- Choose the scheduling action and verify the event on the provider.
- At show time select that event and explicitly choose Start Broadcast.
Check the result
A scheduled event should exist while streaming remains stopped until you start it.
Helpful information
The scheduling option is provider-specific. A created event is not proof of viewer delivery.
If something is wrong
Check time conversion and offered account capabilities; stream-key scheduling may be on the provider website.
