Connect and manage broadcast accounts
Authorize an offered broadcast account, confirm the identity in MCast and choose it in the output profile.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Rehearse changes before using them during a live production.
Where to find it
Action > Output > Broadcast Output Profile, its Broadcast Account controls.
Use it
- Choose the required account-based Broadcast Type.
- Choose Connect a new broadcast account or Connect as offered.
- Complete sign-in and permission approval in the provider’s browser page.
- Return to MCast and wait for the account identity/status to confirm it was saved.
- Choose the account in Broadcast Account, review the feed/audio/render settings and save the profile.
- Attach it to the layout’s Broadcast Destination and perform a short permitted rehearsal.
Browser sign-in
The waiting dialog stays over the initiating window. Cancel, Escape or closing the dialog cancels the pending connection; retry from MCast when ready. A browser message such as Authorization received is not proof that MCast finished saving the account. Confirm the identity and state in MCast before closing the editor.
Account types and availability
Account choices include the offered YouTube, Twitch, Restream, X, Kick, Vimeo, Facebook and LinkedIn entries. Available actions differ by provider and account. Live eligibility, permissions and current provider access must be satisfied. A listed type or successful browser sign-in does not guarantee that a provider allows live publishing for your account.
Facebook selections require the intended Page identity when offered. Do not assume Facebook Groups or LinkedIn organizations are supported. Do not assume chat is available for every connected provider. If access is unavailable, use a supported destination your account permits or contact support.
Refresh, renew and disconnect
Refresh updates displayed account state. Validate checks available access. Reauthenticate requests fresh permission. Disconnect removes that saved connection; check profiles that use it first. Account changes do not replace another provider’s account automatically.
