Send a broadcast link to a Browser source
Use the current Channel, Video or Chat link in a prepared Browser source.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and rehearse before changing a live production. Controls depend on your installed version and selection.
Where to find it
The connected broadcast account card’s Channel / Video / Chat link menu.
Use it
- Create a Browser source in the intended collection.
- Open the relevant Channel, Video or Chat icon menu.
- Choose Browser source, then the destination source by name.
- Open that source and check the accepted page and picture.
Helpful information
The menu lists Browser sources in the current collection. It is unavailable when there is no suitable source. The action changes that source to a web URL, including when it previously used a local file. It retains unrelated settings such as dimensions. The source can be shared across scenes, so rehearse before changing it live.
Open URL opens the link outside the source; Copy URL copies it. A website can require sign-in or refuse to display as expected. Use a page intended for your production; sending a link does not automatically make its content a transparent overlay.
