Audio presets

Save sample rate, channel count, and audio bitrate.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

File > Output > Audio Preset.

Use it

  1. Choose New.
  2. Enter Name.
  3. Set Sample Rate (Hz).
  4. Choose Channels.
  5. Set Audio Bitrate (kbps).
  6. Save.

Controls and additional tasks

The codec profile selects the audio encoder; this preset controls rate, channels, and bitrate.

Sample Rate (Hz)Number of audio samples per second.
ChannelsAudio channel layout or count.
Audio Bitrate (kbps)Encoded audio data rate; higher values usually increase file/network size.
CancelClose without saving the pending edits.

EditEdit the selected item.
DeleteRemove the selected saved item.
CloseClose this window.
