Recording, broadcasting & outputs

Create a Broadcast Output Profile

Save a broadcast provider/account, feed, render settings, audio routing, delay, and optional backup recording.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Layout Output > Broadcast Output Profile.

Set it up

  1. Choose New.
  2. Enter Broadcast Output Name.
  3. Choose Broadcast Type.
  4. Select Broadcast Account, or use Connect a new broadcast account.
  5. Choose Output Feed and its target where needed.
  6. Configure Render & Routing.
  7. Open Audio Track and assign the sound to send.
  8. Choose Save.
  9. Attach the profile through Broadcast Destination.

Destination & Feed

Broadcast Type determines the provider/endpoint options. Broadcast Account chooses the authorized identity. Priority (0-100) determines priority when available output resources are constrained. Provider Endpoint, IP family, bind address, and other transport settings appear for the selected delivery type.

Account controls

Connect links the selected account. Refresh selected account updates its displayed state. Validate checks access; Reauthenticate renews authorization. Disconnect selected account removes that account connection. Check Identity and Status before starting.

Broadcast Delay

Enable Delay this Broadcast and set Delay (seconds) to defer delivery. Preserve delayed cutoff while reconnecting retains delayed material during supported recovery; preservation is bounded by the broadcast buffer and recovery limit.

Broadcast Backup Recording

Enable Record Broadcast as a backup and choose Folder and File Type. Use Create the file name automatically or File Name or Template. Recording Mode and Chunk Duration control separate finalized files. Completed chunks remain available if a later session fails.

Start deliberately

Save and attach first. Starting can open provider broadcast details; review title, privacy, and audience before Start. Starting a broadcast publishes to that audience. See Broadcasting for the operating controls.
