Controls and additional tasks

Chunked recording finalizes separate files at Chunk Duration. ISO recording creates isolated files for enabled track buses in their track folders. Create MP4 copy after recording creates a delivery copy when supported. Filename tokens include %CCYY, %MM, %DD, %hh, %mm, %ss, $destination, $suffix, and $ordinal; the layout name comes first. Overwrite existing files can replace earlier recordings. Alpha Channel is offered only for compatible recording combinations. Starting recording validates destinations, feeds, and audio assignments first.

If something is wrong

If start is blocked, check the validation result, folder, format/profile pairing, and audio assignments. If audio is missing, inspect Audio Track.

Additional workflow details

Create the Recording Output Profile, assign audio tracks, and attach the destination before starting. ISO recording is configured from the profile’s track buses.
