How do I use a different provider or output type for a saved profile?

Create a new output profile when its provider, recording format or external type must change.

Before you start

Review active deliveries before changing layout destinations.

Where to find it

Action > Output and the required profile family.

Steps

Open the saved profile and review its retained type and render selection.
For a different provider/format/type, choose New in that profile family.
Configure the new type, render settings and audio tracks, then save.
Attach the intended new profile to the layout and test it before replacing an active delivery.

Check the result

The new profile uses the requested type and the existing profile retains its settings.

Helpful information

Existing Broadcast Type, Recording format and External Type are locked. Render selection remains editable; a saved 60 fps selection is retained on reopening. Only new profiles use the initial default suggestion.

If something is wrong

Check the right family and selected profile. Do not detach or stop the wrong live destination.
