How do I set output resolution, frame rate, and quality?

Follow this workflow to set output resolution, frame rate, and quality.

Before you start

Obtain the destination’s supported picture and encoding requirements.

Where to find it

Output profile > Render & Routing or the recording profile’s render settings.

Steps

  1. Choose Render Settings Source.
  2. For Use Render Profile, choose Render Settings.
  3. For Use Custom Render Presets, choose Video Preset, Audio Preset, Video Codec Profile, Video Color Profile, and Resize Policy as offered.
  4. Use the edit/create buttons where present to manage a reusable selection.
  5. Review the output’s format requirements and choose Save.

Check the result

Check picture format at the receiver or in a finished recording sample.

If something is wrong
