Video color profiles
Choose video format, color space, range, and HDR metadata for a layout or output.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Output > Video Color Profile.
Use it
- Enter Name.
- Choose Color Format, Color Space, and Color Range.
- Set SDR White Level.
- Enable HDR metadata only for the intended HDR workflow.
- Set HDR Peak Level and save.
Controls and additional tasks
Color range and space must match the intended output. HDR settings can affect how an SDR display shows the picture.
Control reference
| Control | Use |
|---|---|
| Name | Name used to identify this item in lists. |
| Color Format | Video pixel/color representation for the output. |
| Color Space | Color interpretation for the output. |
| Color Range | Full or limited video levels. |
| SDR White Level | Set sdr white level for this item. |
| Enable HDR metadata | Turn this option on or off for this item. |
| HDR Peak Level | Set hdr peak level for this item. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
