How do I stop an output after playing an outro?
Let a prepared before-end sequence finish before ending delivery.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.
Where to find it
Output family End/Stop and the assigned Auto Switcher before-output-end sequence.
Steps
- Prepare and rehearse the before-end sequence, including its outro.
- Start the intended output and confirm actual live/recording status.
- Choose End/Stop once when ready.
- Allow the sequence and output shutdown to finish; confirm the family is idle.
Check the result
The outro finishes before that output stops.
Helpful information
The output can remain visibly active with End unavailable during Stopping. Other output families retain their own state. After the sequence and affected outputs stop, MCast returns to the first eligible visible user scene.
If something is wrong
Check the sequence assignment and destination status. If stopping fails or is interrupted, review the error and retry when the control is available.
