How do I send controller feedback with signals?

Follow this workflow to send controller feedback with signals.

Before you start

Prepare the signal device and the status you want it to indicate.

Where to find it

Tools > Signal.

Steps

Choose Add.
Enable the mapping.
Select Event, Subject, and target device/control.
Set Type, Scope, Priority, and value mapping.
Choose Save.
Select the mapping and choose Test.
Inspect Live states and Feedback activity.

Check the result

Cause a safe status change and check the receiving device indication.

Helpful information

Devices lists available targets; Refresh reloads discovered devices. Duplicate copies a mapping. Up/Down reorders mappings. Import/Export transfers mappings. Scope limits where feedback applies; value mapping translates reported values for the receiving control.
