How do I translate signal values for my controller?
The receiver gets its expected values.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Inspect Live states to learn the reported text.
- Edit the mapping and enter the receiver’s required text pairs in Value mapping.
- Save and test both states on the receiver.

The receiver gets its expected values.
Helpful information
Leave mapping empty for normal values; do not assume every device expects the same text.
If something is wrong
Use valid quoted text pairs and confirm the incoming text matches.
