Follow this workflow to run a prepared automation script.

Before you start

Use a prepared production script and decide which permissions it needs.

Where to find it

Tools > Scripts.

Steps

  1. Choose Add.
  2. Enter Name, Code, category, and description.
  3. Set timeout and maximum commands.
  4. Grant only the script permissions needed.
  5. Choose Validate.
  6. Choose Save.
  7. Select the script and choose Run.
  8. Choose Stop or Stop All to end execution.

Check the result

Validate before running and check the intended scene/title changes.

Helpful information

Permissions cover commands, signals, waits/delays, and script logs. Triggers runs a script automatically for selected events/signals. Debounce reduces repeated events. Import/Export transfers scripts. Assign script actions in File > Shortcuts.

If something is wrong

Review validation, enabled state, permissions, timeout, and command limit. Use Stop or Stop All when needed.
