Choose and order trigger actions

Set exactly what a trigger changes and which scene, source or command it affects.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and layout. Make changes during preparation and check a short rehearsal before using them in a live show.

Where to find it

Trigger editor > Manage Actions.

Set it up

  1. Choose Add Action.
  2. Select Action and complete the fields that appear for it.
  3. Select a target from the current collection rather than typing a guessed name.
  4. Set Wait before action (ms) and Enabled.
  5. Choose Done for the action, then use Up/Down to put actions in order.
  6. Rehearse the event; verify every enabled action in that order.

Only applicable controls appear

Target Scene, Target Source, Auto Switcher, Command, Transition and Duration apply to different actions. Audio actions require an audio-capable source. Run Command lists commands supported for triggers.

Advanced parameters

Use the fields offered for the selected command. Leave Advanced Command Parameters unchanged unless the chosen command’s help requires them; do not paste private credentials or an unrelated command example.

Edit or pause

Edit updates the selected action. Remove Action removes it from the rule. Disabling it preserves its place but prevents it from running. A wait does not wait for media completion.
