Why is my shortcut not working or running the wrong action?
The intended command responds in the expected focus and collection.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Search for the command/control in File > Shortcuts.
- Check enabled state, State, Input, Target / Value and Saved in.
- Review matching application/collection assignments and Shortcut Focus Behaviour.
- Correct one assignment, save and test again.

Helpful information
Collection assignments can take priority over matching application controls. Focused keys can have their own editing action.
If something is wrong
Capture a current input and choose a current target instead of repeatedly pressing an uncertain output command.
