Audio & monitoring
How do I open source settings from an audio input?
Reach the correct capture or media settings from its mixer input.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.
Where to find it
Input Audio Properties > Source Properties, or its offered settings menu.
Steps
- Select an editable source-backed mixer input.
- Open its Audio Properties or settings menu.
- Choose Source Properties and confirm the source name.
- Save the intended changes and check the audio meter and routing.
Check the result
The editor belongs to that input even when its scene row is filtered or nested.
Helpful information
Global Desktop/Mic inputs do not offer Source Properties; configure their devices in Audio settings. Audio Properties remains available. Guest inputs or bus rows may have no editable source.
If something is wrong
Check the input type and current selection. Do not assume a missing Source Properties action means the microphone is disconnected.
