Audio buses

A bus combines selected inputs into a separate mix. Use it for clean feeds or isolated recording tracks.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

File > Options > Audio Buses.

Use it

  1. Open Audio Buses.
  2. Select a bus and choose Edit.
  3. Set Character, Name, and Monitor Channel.
  4. Enable it and choose Save.
  5. Set input sends in the Audio Mixer.
  6. Assign the bus to an output audio track.

Controls and additional tasks

Master is the final mix. Buses A–H give separate mixes. Disabled buses cannot be used as valid output assignments.
