How do I change monitoring for existing playback inputs in a collection?

Apply the collection’s Mute/Monitor choice to eligible video and Dynamic Media inputs.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.

Where to find it

Collection profile > Monitoring input default status.

Steps

Open the current collection profile.
Explicitly change Monitoring input default status to Mute or Monitor.
Save and check existing assigned playback monitor sends.
Verify other input types and listen with headphones before a live show.

Check the result

Eligible assigned Video and Dynamic Media monitoring sends follow the changed choice.

Helpful information

It keeps channel assignments, gain, balance and show-bus routing. Unassigned sends are not assigned automatically by this change. Microphone, capture, global and guest safety choices remain. An affected playback Solo monitoring state can be cleared so the chosen Mute/Monitor applies.

If something is wrong

Saving unrelated collection choices or the same unchanged status does not reset individual playback monitoring. Check assigned channels and their output device.
