Prepared chat, banner and ticker assets in Normal

Use the ready-made template assets supplied with a new Normal collection.

Before you start

Prepare the intended collection and check the result before a live show.

Where to find it

Normal Assets, Banners and Platform Chat Settings.

Use it

  1. Open a new Normal collection and inspect the prepared chat, Banner and Ticker choices.
  2. Review the source template and replace its sample text with your own content.
  3. Check overlay mapping and deliberately show the intended asset.
  4. Hide it when it is no longer needed.

Helpful information

New Normal collections prepare base, paid and member Platform Chat sources, a Motion Template source and a Ticker Template source. Chat starts with Blue Edge, the headline with Plain Auto Width, and the ticker with Breaking Strip. These assets begin hidden: selecting a template does not put its sample content on air.

The prepared asset sources and their supporting scenes are fixed parts of Normal. Edit their template/content and visibility through the supplied controls; ordinary scene/source removal is unavailable for these slots. Base chat routing initially selects the prepared base chat source. Saved routing changes, including clearing a selection, are retained. Paid/member chat follows the chat overlay channel according to routing choices.

Prepared Banner/Ticker sources use manual data. An ordinary separate Motion Graphics source can offer other data-source modes. A prepared Dynamic Camera Grid uses Cobalt Stack for guest information; review Name/Title field mappings with your own participants.
