Apply effects to motion-template elements
Add and order design effects for a selected layer, group, or element.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Motion Template designer > effects panel.
Set it up
- Select the layer, group, or element.
- Choose Add and the required effect.
- Select the effect and edit its properties.
- Use Move selected effect up or Move selected effect down to order the stack.
- Preview the element and save the template.
Design effects
The panel offers Fill, Image Fill, Stroke, Gradient, Crop, Corner, Skew, Reflection, Feather, Texture Flip, Shadow, Glow, Bounding, Fit To Text, Follow Transform, Shape, and Mask. These are designer effects; source-filter controls are in a separate source dialog.
Manage an effect
Enable or disable effect keeps its settings. Duplicate selected effect copies it. Rename selected effect changes its name. Remove selected effect deletes it. Reset selected effect to defaults restores its settings.
