How do I change a ticker’s speed or pause it?

Control an existing ticker without redesigning its template.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.

Where to find it

Motion Template source Properties > Tickers, or Normal Banners > Ticker.

Steps

Select the intended source/template.
Choose the ticker by its element name.
Adjust Direction, Speed and Gap.
Set Loop and Paused, then save source Properties when using the dialog.
Check the actual scene; clear Paused to resume.

Check the result

Only the selected ticker takes the intended values; other ticker settings remain independent.

Helpful information

Normal puts element/direction at the top, Speed/Gap together below and Loop/Paused at the bottom. Single-ticker sources offer Loop/Paused quick controls. Manual playback has separate settings.

If something is wrong

If Tickers is absent, use a template containing a ticker. With several tickers, use the selector instead of expecting a single quick toggle.
