Route free, paid, and member chat to templates
Choose the Platform Chat source used when different message classes are added to broadcast.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Platform Chat Settings > Platform Chat templates.
Set it up
- Add the intended Platform Chat sources to scenes first.
- Open Platform Chat Settings.
- Choose Select base chat template.
- Use the base template for paid/member chat, or disable its reuse and choose a separate source.
- Choose whether to Show member chat in a separate tab.
- Choose Save and Close.
Available templates
Only Platform Chat sources already added to scenes are selectable. Turn off Use base template for paid chat to choose Paid chat template. Turn off Use base template for member chat to choose Member chat template.
Member tab
When Show member chat in a separate tab is off, member messages remain in Free Chat or Paid Chat according to message type. Template routing and tab separation are distinct choices.
