Automatically hide a motion graphic

Set how long a Motion Graphics source remains visible after you show it.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and check the result before using it in a live show.

Where to find it

Motion Graphics source properties, its quick options, or the Motion Graphics panel: Auto hide.

Use it

  1. Select the intended Motion Graphics source.
  2. Choose an Auto hide duration, or None for manual hiding.
  3. Show the graphic and watch the result in the intended scene.
  4. Show it again when you want another timed appearance.

Helpful information

Durations run from 5 to 600 seconds in five-second steps. None disables timed hiding. The timed appearance applies when the graphic is visible in an active scene. Auto hide controls source visibility; Auto next advances manual data rows and Loop repeats those rows. They are separate choices. For automatic viewer messages, use Platform Chat message show time and test the complete chat/template combination.
