How do I add live speech captions?
Follow this workflow to add live speech captions.
Before you start
Prepare the audio source, speech model, language, and subtitle template.
Where to find it
Sources > Add > Subtitle.
Steps
- Choose Subtitle Template.
- Enable live captions.
- Select Model and Audio Source.
- Choose language/custom code where needed.
- Set characters per line, maximum lines, and confidence threshold.
- Choose punctuation, profanity, partial-results, and word-highlight options.
- Save and check captions.
Check the result
Speak a test phrase and check caption text and readability.
Helpful information
Partial speech results update before the final phrase. Higher confidence threshold admits fewer uncertain words. Word highlight requires a supporting template. Model settings are managed under Speech Models.
