Configure guest host video and audio

Select the host picture and sound used in the guest system.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Guest dock > Edit host; host manager and host settings.

Set it up

  1. Choose Add Host or edit the selected host.
  2. Enter Host name and Headline.
  3. Choose Video feed, then Camera or Input scene as appropriate.
  4. Choose Audio input.
  5. Add an optional image if needed.
  6. Choose Save and check what guests receive.

Guest audio

Incoming audio bus routes received sound. The audio level sent to guests uses 0 dB to keep the original level; peak protection prevents clipping. Apply audio filters automatically enables the offered automatic treatment. Check the return mix to avoid sending a guest an unwanted repeat of their own voice.

Host management

Edit host changes the selected host. Delete host removes it. Guest information show/hide intervals control its timed presentation; transition settings control participant entry, exit, and shifting.

Additional workflow details

Waiting Room audio continues to use Master. Monitor routing is controlled from Manage Audio Buses. Automatic filter presets apply to new guest inputs; existing and reconnected guests retain their own filters. See Guest return audio.
