Read chat across active layouts
Filter platform conversations by layout while keeping the active collection’s chats together.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and check the result before using it during a production. Controls depend on the installed version and current selection.
Where to find it
Platform Chat > Layout, followed by the platform filter.
Use it
- Open the collection layouts you intend to use and start their intended broadcasts deliberately.
- Choose All layouts to browse their combined active chats.
- Choose a specific layout and platform to narrow the view.
- Review the separate composer destination before sending a host message.
Helpful information
Chat covers active streaming destinations from the current collection’s main layout and open layout docks/windows. An inactive unopened layout tab is outside that scope. Starting another output preserves existing chat history; stopping one does not end other active chats.
If two layouts use the same event, All layouts avoids presenting it as duplicate conversations while each associated layout can still filter it. Reading filters do not choose the send destination or change base/paid/member template routing. Scroll up to read history and return to the bottom to follow new messages.
