Guest invitation and device setup options
Choose the setup experience offered to people opening a guest invitation.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Guest settings > Guest Invite.
Set it up
- Open Guest settings.
- Choose whether to Ask for display name.
- Set default microphone/camera selection and mobile camera/orientation preferences.
- Choose guest setup tips, settings, preview, and raise-hand options.
- Choose Save and review a safe invitation before sharing it.
Device choices
Auto-select default microphone and Auto-select default camera select the guest’s available defaults. Prefer front camera on mobile and Force landscape video request the mobile capture preferences. Device permission and actual camera availability still depend on the guest’s browser/device.
Guest interface
Pro-audio mode selects the offered audio mode. Hide settings button and Show guest setup tips affect setup access/guidance. Disable self-preview and Mini self-preview change the guest’s own preview. Display raise-hand button enables that guest control. Show guest name on output controls the capture label.
