Guests, rooms, and host inputs
Manage invited participants, backstage placement, on-screen video, and host inputs.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Guest dock.
Use it
- Create/edit the room.
- Choose its name, layout/canvas, FPS, and security.
- Add or edit guest details.
- Copy the guest link and share it with that participant outside MCast.
- Start/manage the session.
- Accept a waiting guest when ready.
- Move the guest backstage or on screen.
Controls and additional tasks
Name, Headline, and optional Image identify participants. Reset Link/Reset Room Code changes invitation access. Lock room restricts entry. Waiting-room and participant controls set mute/video/rename permissions. Make primary selects the primary participant; Up/Down changes order. Host settings choose host inputs. Individual host/guest recording uses its folder and chunk settings captured when the session starts; changes during a session apply to the next one. Enter/leave/shift transitions control participant layout changes.

If something is wrong
If a participant is not visible, check waiting/backstage/on-screen state. For video issues check participant permission and selected camera. 4K needs the shown plan and a suitable camera/bandwidth.
