Open the intended collection and check the result before using it in a live show.
Where to find it
Platform Chat > Settings > Automatic chat display.

- Add a Platform Chat source to a scene, configure its template and select it as the base source in chat Settings.
- Enable Automatically put chat on screen.
- Choose Message show time (seconds) and Chat type: All, Paid or Member only.
- Choose All platforms or the specific output/platform entries you want.
- Save and Close, start the intended broadcast and check a newly arriving matching message.
- Turn automatic display off when you want to return to manual selection.
Helpful information
Automatic display starts disabled; the initial show time is five seconds. Only new matching messages are considered, rather than replaying older chat history. Each message gets its selected time. Repeated unchanged messages from the same identifiable viewer are skipped during that broadcast.
Manual Add to Broadcast pauses automatic replacement until you remove the manual message. Base, paid and member routing still applies. Clearing the base source disables automatic display; selecting it again does not enable it for you. Settings belong to the collection. Changing settings or ending a broadcast clears waiting messages.
Platform choices can distinguish two profiles from the same provider. An empty selection or a previously selected entry that is no longer available returns to All, so review the selection after changing outputs. If automatic display reports it is paused, check the template/routing, then turn it off and on. Review which chat types and platforms are suitable for unattended display before enabling it.
