Guest return audio, filters, and session protection
Choose the sound guests receive and protect important guest-session actions.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Guest host settings > Host feed, Return audio gain, and Accidental click protection.
Set it up
- Open host settings for the guest system.
- Choose the Incoming audio bus.
- Adjust Return audio gain while checking the guest return.
- If needed, save an audio filter preset in the mixer and select it under Apply audio filters automatically.
- Set Guest card delete and Room session end protection.
- Choose Save.
Audio routing
Waiting Room audio continues to use Master. Monitor routing is controlled from Manage Audio Buses. 0 dB Return audio gain keeps the original level; peak protection prevents clipping.
Filter timing
The automatic audio filter preset applies to new guest inputs. Existing and reconnected guests retain their own filters.
Timing and transitions
Guest info auto-show interval and auto-hide duration use the same timing for every Dynamic Camera Grid in this session. Transition In is used on entry to the on-screen layout; Transition Out on exit; Transition for Shift when an on-screen guest changes position.
Protection
Configure confirmation or a Ctrl-click requirement for the protected action. Confirmations are silent. Review the protection before ending a live session.
